| SUMMER DANCE INTESNIVE |
DANCE WITH US! Take the classes which we take to train for the season. Company | E is a mixed repertory dance company, and our work requires a diverse set of techniques. From contemporary ballet to Gaga to modern, we mix it up to train for the work we do. Our ballet classes are geared towards contemporary dance, and so you'll get a different workout than you would in a traditional classical class.
WHO TEACHES: Our classes are taught by our own Professional Company Members.
LEVELS: Professional class is right for Intermediate to Advanced dancers. We push ourselves, and we'll push you.
CAN I DROP IN? Yes! All classes are open for Drop In.
HOW DO I GET TO DIW?: The Dance Institute of Washington is located at 3400 14th Street NW in the heart of the Columbia Heights community. Green Line Metro is just two blocks away (at Columbia Heights). All the major 14th Street bus routes stop acrosst the street. If you're driving, there is ample 2 hour parking on the side streets between 14th and 16th (there is no 15th Street at that part of Columbia Heights). - IS THERE A PROFESSIONAL RATE?: For our Summer Intensive there is fixed class price of $15.
- WHERE DO I GET COFFEE? Its the question all of us always ask. Fortunately, its Columbia Heights. There are many coffee and pastry shops nearby, but we love La Caprice, just a block north of the Studios past the Fire Station and, well, Starbucks, which is in between the Metro Station and the Studio.
