Embodied
Futures.

The body senses, remembers, adapts, and responds. Company E begins there—then asks how new tools can carry movement and story into spaces we have not yet imagined.

Capture the movement.
Never lose the artist.

Technology is not a substitute for presence. It can reveal presence—allowing gesture to cross distance, knowledge to be shared, and a performance to live in forms its makers could not reach before.

A/Re You There?

A live dancer enters a structure built for capture. Cameras record movement from every direction, turning the performance into a three-dimensional encounter that can appear through a screen—at another scale, in another place.

Created with Tobias Chen and Volumetric Camera Systems, the experiment established a question that continues to guide Company E: how can technology extend an artist’s presence without flattening the humanity that makes it matter?

A story expands

The Pearl Diver’s
Daughter.

Dance, music, and Gulf storytelling move between the stage and augmented space. The live work remains the heart; AR opens another threshold into its world.

The history in motion

From a body
to augmented space.

A/Re You There? records the first leap: a dancer captured volumetrically and carried into a new kind of encounter. That experiment became the foundation for the augmented world of The Pearl Diver’s Daughter.

The next movement

What happens when a machine learns to listen?

A forthcoming robotics initiative returns to the foundational skills of dance: balance, timing, spatial awareness, responsiveness, and trust.

Artificial intelligence and robotics enter Company E’s practice not as substitutes for artists, but as new questions for artists to move through.
