"The Company | E Summer Intensive is about giving our participants more than just class for the sake of class. It's about how that technique folds into the idea of a repertory company which travels the world. Our workshops with leaders in Government and the Arts bring one-of-a-kind insights about both the state of the world and the state of the arts today."
-- Kathryn Sydell Pilkington, Intensive Director and Company | E Co-Artistic Director
The 2024 Intensive is Directed by Company | E Co-Artistic Director Kathryn Sydell Pilkington. Ms. Pilkington is joined by senior members of the Repertory Company for in-depth, intense technique training -- the training the Company uses to prepare for the diverse repertory from around the globe that is the centerpiece of every Company | E concert.

IMAGERY AND FILM
A favorite over the years in the Company | E Intensives has been the chance to get headshots and body shots both in the studio and around DC.
Spend a few hours in the studio or around DC's most magical locations as the backdrop for a photo session with Co-Artistic Director Paul Gordon Emerson.
As a partner with both the United States Department of State and with many of the Diplomatic Missions to the United States -- the Embassies -- in Washington, DC, Company | E has made international engagement, and the use of art to create dialogue, confront hard questions and break down barriers since its founding. Get an inside look from the artists of Company | E about the tools and techniques which make that work possible.
