Local artists and Company E come together as one international ensemble.
Company E + U.S. Department of State
The Great White Way becomes a meeting place—where international artists sing, dance, create, and tell a story together.
Enter the storyA stage built together
Broadway Bound celebrates one of America’s most recognizable art forms by placing collaboration—not presentation—at its center.
Company E artists work side by side with local singers, dancers, musicians, and creative teams. Together, they reimagine iconic songs and stories for a new place, a new cast, and a new audience.
Every Company E artist is also a teacher. That means the work naturally reaches beyond the production itself—expanding into master classes, workshops, and deeper collaborations shaped by the artists and institutions in each community.
Every Broadway Bound program has been created in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Embassies, using musical theatre as a vibrant language for exchange, trust, and human connection.

Kharkiv · Ukraine
In December 2017, Broadway Bound came to Kharkiv to celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and Ukraine.
American and Ukrainian artists built the work together—rehearsing, teaching, listening, and becoming an ensemble. The world around Kharkiv is profoundly different today. The relationships formed through that collaboration are not.
Art transcends distance and history. It can give people a reason to cross the space between them—and something enduring to carry home.

A U.S. Department of State Cultural Envoy Broadway Bound.
The program's latest iteration took Broadway Bound to Malta and Gozo - continuing more than a decade of artistic exchange through American Musical Theater.
Malta as a case study
Alongside creating the Broadway Bound experience in Malta and Gozo, Company E’s artist-teachers conducted half a dozen master classes—opening the program into sustained, discipline-specific exchange.
The Company worked with the University of Malta, the Professional Drama Theater of Malta, schools, students, and artists across both islands. Each encounter created another way to listen, teach, learn, and build together.
