Our commitment
Respect is part of the work.
Company E, Inc. (“Company E,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values the trust of the artists, students, families, partners, donors, and visitors who engage with us. This policy describes our actual website practices in clear language. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use companye.org to display third-party advertisements.
Scope
This policy applies to companye.org, its pages and forms, and online interactions that link to this policy. It also describes certain third-party services embedded in or reached through the website.
Some services—such as Vimeo video players, Zeffy donation or registration forms, and social-media platforms—operate under their own privacy policies. When you use those services, their terms and privacy practices also apply.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, or security; in connection with a reorganization or transfer of organizational assets; or with your direction or consent.
Company E does not sell personal information for money. Google advertising and measurement technologies may nevertheless be treated as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws; see the choices below.
Cookies, embedded media, and measurement
The site uses cookies and related technologies for several distinct purposes:
- Essential and security functions, including maintaining and protecting website functionality.
- Analytics, including Google Analytics, to understand visits, pages, devices, and interactions.
- Campaign and conversion measurement, including Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tags, to understand whether outreach leads people to Company E.
- Embedded media, including Vimeo players. Company E uses Vimeo’s “Do Not Track” player parameter where implemented, but Vimeo explains that essential player-security cookies may still be used and previously stored Vimeo cookies may be sent by a visitor’s browser.
- Donation functionality, including Zeffy scripts used to connect visitors with fundraising services.
These technologies may operate when a page loads. Your choices include browser cookie controls, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and Google’s advertising controls. Blocking cookies may affect some website features or embedded media.

Youth participants and families
Company E creates programs for children and young people, but this website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information directly from children under 13 without involvement from a parent, guardian, school, or authorized program partner.
Parents and guardians should submit inquiries, applications, and registrations for younger participants. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to Company E without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate program and business records, to meet tax or legal obligations, to resolve disputes, or to protect Company E and its community. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it is held.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors and transfers
Company E is based in Washington, D.C. and works internationally. Information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your own.
Where applicable, our grounds for processing may include your consent, taking steps at your request or performing an agreement, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Company E, and compliance with legal obligations.
